Fundraising

Shop

To assist with fundraising we opened Cahans Meeting House Charity Shop at Birch Court, Main Street, Ballybay. Staffed by TÚS workers, CE scheme workers and volunteers, it is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00 to 16.00.

It continues to provide a steady income toward Cahans’ ongoing renovation and conservation. We are extremely grateful to all who man the shop week by week.
If you have 3 hours to spare and would like to be involved in helping us raise funds please contact us.

Donations of any re-saleable items such as clothes, shoes, handbags, books, jewellery, household articles would be gratefully received. These can be left in the shop during working hours. Collections can be arranged by contacting us.

Recycling

The Committee also collects used clothes, bed linen, curtains, shoes and boots for recycling. This has proved to be valuable source of income. Donations of these items can be left in the shop.

Handcrafted gifts for sale

Wood turned pens, tealight holders and small plates made from the original Cahans church pews have created great interest. These are unique mementos as this wood is at least 100 years old!
